Psychiatry

This course includes the history of psychiatry and the basic biological sciences (neuroanatomy, neurophysicology, neurochemistry, genetics and sleep research), psychological sciences (perception, cognition, affect, communication and learning), and sociocultural sciences that contribute to the knowledge of psychiatry. As and addition, domestic violence is also discussed and local mental health resources are identified.
